| Notes |
|
The Miller's were Scots-Irish. David Miller was the progenitor of our family. He came to America shortly before the Revolution. His wife died leaving him with a very young son, John. David fought in the Revolution in the militia. He was not a regular soldier. We don't know much about the early family and we have pieced together written accounts by early family members. In one account David Miller lost his eye n the war. There are several records about various David Millers (pension papers) however the one we are especially interested in is illegible.
