Enlisted 26 Jul 1861 at Camp Shaver, Arkansas (Pocahontas, Arkansas)
Appointed 2nd Cpl 26 Jul 1861. By request he was reduced to the ranks 8 Aug 1861
and detailed as a wagoner 8 Aug 1861. He returned to the company 4 Sep 1861.
31 Dec 1861 sick in the hospital at Nashville, Tennessee
Aug 1862 detached as a regimental teamster.
Jun 1863-Aug 1864 Absent sick in hospital.
Retired to the invalid corps 2 Dec 1864 at Selma, Alabama.
Admitted to Yandell Hospital, Meridian, Mississippi 17 Apr 1865.
